Rangers is what you would call a "RPG lite" rules system, the player creates a Ranger who has a initial stat line consisting of movement, fight, shoot, armour, will and health. There are also a list of Heroic Abilities and spells that the Ranger can select and a list of inherent skills. That's awesome! I really appreciate Joe's goodwill toward the gaming community. I bought the HB edition and the PDF not that long ago, so I was agonizing over whether or not to get the Deluxe so soon. I can always get it later now knowing the rules/updates will be available to everyone.
